Below and attached is a patch file to fix Fusion 360's post processor: G-code is a programming language for CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines. The crux of the issue is that the post processor is not including the C9 routine during the tool change operations. I've also noticed a problem with Fusion 360's ShopBot OpenSBP post processor when using an ATC. Would also like to know what might be happening.Įdit - Found someone with the same issue. So I wasn't starting from a 'clean' startup of the application. The only difference I noted was that I never exited the ShopBot program before loading the second file. The app prompted if the correct tool was loaded, spindle started, and it went off running just fine. Then I loaded a second file generated by Fusion, didn't add the lines, and when I started running everything worked fine. Spindle started up and everything was fine. In fact, I did what you did and compared VCarvePro output with Fusion's, spotted the differences, then added the missing lines. What exactly does C9 mean? I looked for command referenc online and C9 doesn't appear in it anywhere. I have to keep manually adding these same two lines to anythign I ouput and am wondering if I can 'fix' it so it does that automatically.Īlso want to understand the code better.
